Located in Montenero d’Orcia, about 10 miles south of Montalcino in the volcanic foothills of Monte Amiata in Tuscany, several generations of the Pieri family planted vineyards, olive groves and vegetables, slowly increasing their production over time. The family also raises animals for its renowned butcher shop offering fresh and cured organic meats. The farm production is certified organic and both the vineyards and the vinification are now managed by Eleonora Pieri, the granddaughter of the patriarch.
